Osamu Watanabe



Born in Tokyo in 1983 and grew up with limited urban green and the attraction of insects in the downtown area. After the earliest recollections Osamu started drawing pictures,When elementary school age he got into Japanese manga,Dragon Ball and he had many fun with copying images from the cartoon and had fun with many scribbles on textbooks but study and homeworks..
During high school time,he learnt how to build pc and he got enthusiastic about digital-art such as computer graphics.
When the academic time Osamu found himself big shocked with the beautiful "analog-art" in a painting by Van Gogh, then he changed his mind from digital-art to the analog-art such as the painting to study. The shock gave him to quit the university and gave him courage to study fine-art in England and New Zealand.
A friend who Osamu has done a group exhibition with,tought him the amusingness of photography then he started photography. Lately Osamu has been making motion graphics and animations,and he has done some designs for musicians,YASKI,Choji,and Sonorous.
At all times Osamu's aim is to achive visual beauty that he expects for his artwork with many media he learn.
