BIOGRAPHY

Osamu Watanabe is a Japanese graphic artist living and working in Berlin.
He has loved drawing since he was a child and studied computer and digital information technology.
Since 2015, he has been working as a freelance graphic artist, specializing in a variety of techniques.
His work is regularly published in a wide range of media, including publications, web media, product packaging, and even illustrations for the gaming industry.
Influenced by the pop art culture that existed in his native Japan, he enjoys creating his own unique visual expressions that incorporate the subdued colors and textures of Ukiyo-e.

ベルリン在住の日本人グラフィックアーティスト。
幼い頃から絵を描くことが好きで、コンピューターとデジタル情報技術を学び、2015年からはフリーランスのグラフィックアーティストとして、様々な技術を専門に活動している。
出版物、ウェブメディア、商品パッケージ、さらにはゲーム業界向けのイラストなど、幅広い媒体で定期的に作品を発表している。
生まれ育った日本に存在したポップアート文化の影響を受けつつ、浮世絵の落ち着いた色合いや質感を取り入れた独自のビジュアル表現を楽しんでいる。
